What is a vajacial treatment? How does it work? Do vajacials help the skin of the most delicate area? What do vajacial results look like?

Let me walk you through it in a way that will really make sense.

What is a Vajacial?

A vajacial is exactly what you might think it is: it’s a facial for your vulva (not for your vagina!). The vajacial treatment is not applied to any internal areas. It is only meant for the surrounding skin area. Treatment maintains and improves skin health by eliminating ingrown hair and gets rid of bacteria. Keeping your pH balance safe. A vajacial can help eliminate or significantly reduce the follow skin issues:

  • Hyperpigmentation / Dark Spots

  • Inflammation

  • Scarring / Stretch Marks

Vajacial Steps: All the Ins & Outs

Vajacials are performed on skin that has been previously waxed or shaved. The steps involved in a vajacial vary depending on the products used. It’s typically recommended to wait 7-10 days. Most people experience irritation 7-10 days after a wax when the hair starts to grow in.

This is what you can expect from your first vajacial:

Step 1: Cleanse

This will help cleanse the area of any dirt or oil.

Step 2: Steam and Exfoliate

Exfoliation and steam are the most important part of the vajacial. The use a gentle enzyme will help loosen the buildup in the follicle walls.

Step 3. Extraction

Extractions will help remove embedded hairs and bacteria under the skin.

Step 4: Tone

Cleanse with a toner to remove any bacteria that might have spread to the surface of the skin

Step 5: High Frequency

High frequency can help zap any left-over bacteria that might still be on the skin and soothe irritation.

Step 6: Masking

Using a hydrating or mask geared toward pigmentation will help with discoloration and irritation after the enzyme and exfoliation.

Step 7: Moisturize

The final step to hydrate the skin. It can be a gentle hydrator, a treatment moisturizer, or a body oil (non-comedogenic).

Results will be smoother, hydrated & brighter skin.
